The Photo Hut; Monday [12/06].
Well, Prompto was trying to work on a few photo collages of some of the pictures that he'd totally been snapping all throughout the party on Friday. He had been working on a big one that just sort of featured everyone, and you'd better believe he was putting the picture he got of Liz singing karaoke right in the center (and he wasn't going to feel bad about it, either, because he had it on good authority that she started it with that picture of him at homecoming that she had upstairs on her photo board!), and there were two smaller ones he was putting together for Annie and Summer as gifts, because that seemed like the sort of thing they would appreciate.
Or, at least, as the narrative stated, that was what he was trying to do.
All the little horses bouncing around the shop and frequently stomping their adorable little hooves over his work and neighing out demands for attention, however, was making the process a little slow-going.
"I already told you, little dudes!" he insisted at the next one who neighed for tribute. "I don't know what you need! I mean, it says maybe you want grass or hay or something when I google 'what do tiny horses want?', but you'r ein the wrong place for that, buddies!"
And he didn't even mind all the neighing and stepping on his work, because they were legit adorable. He just felt bad that he couldn't seem to give them what they wanted!
The Photo Hut is open!

She was just going to have to take another photo of Prompto for her board then at some point. That’s how this worked right?
Liz had been about to say hi after she came downstairs when she spotted all the little horses around the store, “the horses are new,” she blinked, “I don’t think they appeared when I was a student,”

After all, there was probably a reason he was working on these at the Photo Hut and not the privacy of his own apartment.
(Other than, you know, sharing an apartment with three other people and a cat meant 'privacy' did not exactly apply, anyway).
He grinned over at Liz when she came in. "I think sometimes they have little carriages, too?" he said, turning thoughtfully at the one prancing around the counter and leaving some little decorative glitter hoofprints all over it. "But I might just be making that up, I don't really remember. I just feel bad because they seem hungry, but they're totally in the wrong place for that."
Unless these horses ate film.
He was definitely not going to test that, because no.
He was, however, going to look back at Liz with his grin a bit softened as he added, "Also?"
Pause for effect.
"Hi."

“Hi,” she grinned happily at him, there was a bit of a pause and then, “um…I wanted to thank you for Friday… I um…had a really good time at the party,”
She had also really enjoyed all the kissing and went a bit pink as she thought about it, which then made her go even redder when she realised she was blushing thinking about it.

Which meant just grinning at her again before adding, "so thanks. It really was a good time, wasn't it?"
Especially all the...certain aspects of it, and Prompto's blush definitely had a lot of deepening to catch up to Liz's, but it was starting to make its appearance.
no subject
That did not help the blushing at all and somehow she managed to go even redder, one day she’d figure out how to get through a conversation with Prompto without blushing so much but today was not that day.
”It …it was, it was nice and and different and um … I …I …reallyreally liked it,” she smiled shyly at him.
no subject
"I really liked it, too," he added assuringly.
It was....almost as if they really enjoyed spending time together, or something! Geez! Who'd've thought?
no subject
Liz’s own smile widened and she also let out a laugh, “I suppose it would have yes,”she said shyly, “we should do it more often.”
Was she referring to the going on another date or more kissing?
Or maybe both?
Liz hadn’t quite realised how open ended that statement was just yet but she beamed up at Prompto with a hopeful smile regardless.

Where said cats would probably be half-ignoted, but they'd be fiiiiine.
Then, unable to help himself, he grinned as he shifted his project a little closer. "I've been putting together a photo board from the party," he explained, "if you needed some inspiration."
But was he mostly showing it off because he was pretty sire she hadn't noticed the picture in the middle of it all yet? And was he watching to see how red her face went once she did?
Maaaaaybe.

Even if the cats would end up being ignored for most of the evening, they would totally be fine.
Then Prompto suggested she look at his photo board from the party.
“Oh,” she blinked down at the photo board and saw the photo of her singing karaoke, “oh ,” she said again and Prompto was not going to be disappointed because she went bright red, even redder than she had been previously

"We could do pizza?" he offered. "And we still have about a million more of those Space Battles movies to get through, right?"
no subject
“That sounds perfect,” she said with a smile, relieved that she could focus on something other than that photo of her and Gladio’s sleeveless sweater photo. “Pizza and Space Battles,” she grinned.
“What day works for you?” she asked with a warm smile.
no subject
Which meant Prompto, too, was more than happy to focus on just making plans for the moment. "Well," he offered, "I'm back in on Thursday, as usual, and all I've got it my class, so...pretty much an open book. Friday
is the openest IRLcould be good?"no subject
and the mun’s actually not at work for once!,” she smiled, “so did you want to have pizza and the movies upstairs Friday evening?” she asked, since the previous time had been at Prompto’s and it was only her and Rain. She was completely unaware that there was going to be another guest in the form of pushy mistletoe.no subject
"If...that's okay...with you," said Prompto, who definitely much preferred the convenience of not having to make sure his roommates gave him space and having to bring up needing space to them at all. And Liz would probably be more comfortable at her own place, anyway.
no subject
Liz smiled warmly, “I don’t mind at all,” she assured him, “it’s just me and Rain after all and Rain won’t mind ,” well she was pretty sure anyway since Rain had taken quite a liking to Prompto, actually she thought at this point she even preferred Prompto to her.
no subject
Prompto would actually be a little heartbroken at that! Not that he'd want to admit it.
"...we'll just adjust accordingly."
Damn. Now he was kind of worried that Rain would mind, and then what???

He was definitely going to hold onto that for a moment, biting his lip a little himself as he held back an impulse that, by now, he probably shouldn't be so concerned about, but still. It was a nice moment, what if he just ended up ruining it?
"Then, I guess," he finally said, softly, just like his smile, "I'm really going to have to make sure I don't disappoint her...huh?"
