Travis was stocking up on bottled water.
Stocking way up.
He had, in fact, placed an order for a giant water tank to be placed on the roof of the building, which could fill up a matching not-as-giant-as-he-wanted-it-to-be tanker truck, just in case he had to bring his own water to an emergency.
During all of this, a little sprig of mistletoe followed him around the station, quivering faintly in what Travis could only conclude was anticipation.
"I hate this month," he told it.
It quivered harder.

Why in GOD'S NAME would you fill FIRE HYDRANTS with ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES??????????????
Well, at least now he knew why the box of plastic letters for the fire house sign had so many questions marks in it.
