Whatever today's weirdness was, Miguel hadn't spotted it yet, so he was going to continue keeping a wary eye on pretty much everything for now.
And a very close eye on the coffee, just because.
Meanwhile, the staff were huddled over a tablet in the corner, arguing over whether or not buying things now counted as "last minute", whether gingerbread or peppermint was more "holiday", and...something about mountains. Miguel shrugged and left them to it.

Gingerbread pancakes
Peppermint french toast
Bagel with lox, cream cheese, tomato, onion, and capers
Luke's was open!
