The Photo Hut - Tuesday
Liz had ended up going home for Christmas and spent a few days longer than she had intended but she did eventually feel the need to come back to Fandom, she had too much work at the store to put it off and even though Professor Broom had told her she could take longer if she needed - she felt …she felt like she could face whatever was going to come her way as a result of what she’d done in the time loop.
She hoped she was ready anyway.
The last several days she had been home had helped, going to midnight mass on Christmas Eve with Professor Broom had been rather soothing and helped calm her down somewhat. She had at least stopped falling into hysterics but she was still rather pale and now she was mostly just tired and listless and was having trouble staying focused.
She remembered how she had been after Pittsburg .. how she had been feeling and how long it had taken her to pull herself together.
She and Rain had gotten in late last night so she hadn’t had much chance to do any work but now she was looking through the list of tasks that she had to complete.
She sent a quick message to Prompto to let him know that she was back in Fandom and then sent him the additional cat photos that she had taken in the last few days that she had been home, since a good portion of her time had been spent with just being with Hellboy and the cats since that had proved to be an excellent distraction from everything.
Also talking to Abe had helped because even though it could be a bit intimidating when he knew everything about you and what you were thinking … in Liz’s case that had been helpful and hearing her own jumbled thoughts articulated and spoken back to her, that had also helped calm her down a bit when she had been experiencing the worst of her moods.
Now that she was back, she had boxes of stock to unpack and put away and emails to respond to so she had enough work to keep her busy and distracted during the morning.
[I was going to wait a couple more days but someone wanted to return already - the Photo Hut is so very open !]
