Diaz & Ass., Monday [01/03].
Rosa found herself having to stifle a few yawns here and there at her desk that morning, and she was definitely going to be blowing through a lot of coffee, as well. She only had herself to blame, really, because she'd decided to settle in and relax with a good old classic Nancy Meyers movie last night, but sometimes, those movies were like potato chips, you couldn't have just one, and the next thing she knew, she was locked into a marathon that also included a few scribble notes and ideas for a potential class idea.
What? That woman was a national treasure!
But, either way, at least she had some work to do that could keep her attention away from how she didn't get much sleep last night because of it. To an untrained eye, it might have looked like Rosa actually had a good case lined up that she was already intensely researching for, but, no, that would be wrong. She was mostly just shooting emails back and forth with Blackstone about their class this semester, which, yes, they'd taught before, but that didn't stop them from shooting more ideas back and forth, which also eventually, inevitably, dissolved into them finding and discussing some of the most ridiculous weapons they could find and how to work that into either Rosa's arsenal or into their lesson plans.
Diaz & Ass. is open!
[[ /spam, and here's to hoping work has finally decided to stop crushing my soul after doing so for pretty much an entire month straight, but I DOUBT IT ]]
