After a few successful* runs with the shovel launcher prototype over the course of the week, Amaya was ready to take it to the next level, which meant she'd cleared out a little space in the shop to pull out the Crumbler and get to work on the latest upgrades.
Now, see, adding a few shovel launchers to the multitude of previous upgrades would be one thing. Hardly even an afternoon's worth of work, really! But that was why Amaya wasn't doing just that. The trick, she figured, was to take its already present shoveling capability and give that the additional option of either scooping or launching. Perhaps even both! Imagine how quickly snow removal could go if you could scoop up the snow and then just launch it several feet away! Maybe even rig up a chain of sorts so that you didn't even have to retrieve the shovel later, you could just reel it back in.
Either way, there were big ideas going on in the Forge today, big enough that Amaya definitely took a second to scribble out a warning on the sandwich board and put it outside the door:
