Covent Garden Flowers; Wednesday [01/12].
After the beautiful new flowers Astrid had discovered in the shop last week, she wasn't terribly surprised to find a new flower she'd never seen before in copious amounts at the front counter this week, either. Sure, they looked a little like other flowers, but she could just tell there was something different about these ones, and not just in the fact that she felt oddly warmer and more comfortable around them, despite the chill in the air outside, and for that, she was grateful.
Who ever through there could be a flower to make you feel warmer just by being around it? It could be pretty popular in the winter, really, although a good part of Astrid was pretty sure it wa all just in her head.
It was pretty, though, and the shape of it lended itself to some nice watercolor postcards that she was working on in between customers, and she had to wonder if they came in any other colors or if it was just the soft blushing pink.
