The Photo Hut - Thursday
So Liz had a key now to give Prompto and she was both nervous and excited about the prospect of giving him the key so he could stay with her while he was at Fandom.
She never imagined a few months ago that any of this would be possible, because she realised it was actually a bit over a few months since she had moved back to Fandom and she was still here and the last few months had been a lot, especially the events of the last month.
Despite everything, it felt strange to think how normal everything had started to become for her.
Today’s task was to start unpacking and putting away the new stock that had arrived, which gave her something to focus on and not think about the key she had made for the apartment that she was going to give to Prompto the next time she saw him.

"I swear," he said, holding up the bag with the nice box from the Insomnia bakery he'd gotten the sweets from with a grin as he came into the shop and headed directly over to Liz, "if you faint again, I promise, I'll take the hint that you clearly are not a fan of moogle cakes."

“Well hopefully this time I’ll at least get to try them.” Liz laughed as she smiled at him, “hi,” she said,
At least she was looking a lot better than she did last week?

"Hey," he said back, grinning broadly, and he was not going to let his hands being full just then prevent him from swooping in to plant a swift kiss of greeting on her forehead. "How are you feeling?"

She bit her lip, “um…I also have something to give you as well,” she blushed and her hand went to her pocket where she had Prompto’s key, “if …if you still want to move in with me that is,” she took out the key and held it out for him.

Which was not at all true, if she said even one word of doubt or of having changed her mind, he'd be respectfully devitstated, but respectful of it all the same, and maybe not even really all that surprised, honestly...He would not blame her at all...

But the joking and the laughing couldn't really chase away the warm feeling that was filling not only his reddened face, but also his chest, looking down at the key in his hand, rubbing it a little with his thumb. After all, it was just a dumb key, right, not a big deal, they were really just being practical about all this, there wa no reason just some little thing should make him feel all warm and fuzzy and wanted...
...but it did, and all at once, and how could something so small also feel suddenly so heavy in his hand, and with all of that hitting him, all he could do was just look up from the key, over at Liz for a moment before leaning in to kiss her.
"Thanks," he then said, somewhat awkwardly in the emotion of it all.

“You’re very welcome,” Liz smiled and happily leaned into the kiss.

It looked good there, really, with all his other keys, and he grinned over at her.
"Well," he said, "I guess that makes it official official, huh?"

Like, a weekend with him probably wouldn't be that bad, but not consecutive weekends, from here on out?
That was so much room for him to completely fuck this up...

And also just generally not knowing where to go from here. This wasn't exactly anything he'd really done before, either.
