Rey's warehouse- Friday afternoon

With a trip home (where it was nice and humid and not snowy) very soon, Rey was trying to get some drills in. It wasn't that she didn't want to impress Anakin- because she really really did- but she saw him all the time. When she only got to train with Leia about once a month she wanted there to be a noticeable difference.

So she was making sure she was getting all her steps as perfect as possible, while knowing it'd likely fall into slight chaos once she had a remote thrown at her or whatever.

"Rey?" Anakin called as he made his not nearly as dramatic as class entrance.

"Yeah," she said, a little distracted while talking mid-move.

Anakin smiled and leaned against the wall, content to wait until she was done.

Rey made her way through the rest of the steps, a little careful, but she knew what she was doing.

Once she was done, she shut down her saber and said, "Decent?"

Anakin smiled as he nodded. "I won't kick you out of the club."

"If you did my timeline would be in a lot of trouble," Rey smiled.

Anakin laughed. "I think Leia would ignore my ruling."

[thatwaslucky]

"I see you more, though," she said. "I would get very bored without training here."

[sith_happened]

"Well, we can't have you being bored," Anakin said, laughing. "I'll redo the course again."

[thatwaslucky]

"I'll be gone part of the week, I wouldn't notice if you did for a bit," she teased.

[sith_happened]

"Just for a visit?" Anakin checked.

[thatwaslucky]

"Yeah. Both to get out of the cold and because Poe can put me to work," she explained.

"It has been really cold," Anakin agreed. "My New England wife tells me it's not that bad and I should just wear a hat. They all have pom-poms on them."

The look on his face said that made them all non-starters.

Rey was fine with pom-poms personally as long as they were on something that would keep her warm.

"Maybe next time I should bring you with us to enjoy warmth."

Anakin laughed. "I wouldn't say no. Jaye could teach my drama class."

[thatwaslucky]

"Oh you'd be fine. I try to never miss Fridays," she smiled.

[sith_happened]

Anakin looked a little touched to hear that. "Really?"

[thatwaslucky]

"Yeah. Training with you is why I'm here. I don't miss it if it can be helped."

Nevermind that she trained back home. That was different.

Anakin's face lit up. It was nice to appreciated. "Thanks."

"Of course," she said. "Besides, this is fun."

[sith_happened]

"I'm glad you still think it's fun," Anakin said. "It's a sign you need more remotes."

"I'm sure I can catch an earlier portal..." she said.

Anakin laughed at her. "Nonsense, you're already here."

"And you're serious about the remotes?" Rey checked.

[sith_happened]

Anakin grinned. "Only if you want me to be."
