Diaz & Ass.; Monday [01/24].
Well, at least one person on the island should be happy to know that there were no surprisingly loud late-night movie marathons last night, because, it wasn't clear by the fact that Rosa had come into her office much later than usual, using the front door rather than the one from the apartment upstairs, and she had her riding gear and helmet with her, she had obviously had better things to do, and she wasted no time in booting up her computer, popping in a zip drive, and extracting the data on it for her report, so she could get it out there and strike while the iron was hot.
You could tell that, whatever it was, it was important, because she didn't even so much as look at the coffee pot yet.
Because somestimes? There was no better fuel in life than catching a real bastard in the act and knowing of the perfect way to back him up into a blackmail corner. Honestly? If she played this right? She was kind of looking forward to probably making this one cry.
It was going to be a good week.
Diaz & Ass. is open!

He nodded at the drive before setting a plate and mug down in front of Rosa and getting started on his own. "Damn, no hacking needed?"

She took a moment to consider the conveniently slow speed at which her files were currently transferring before reaching for that incredibly timely coffee and the food that went along with it.
"I can still encrypt the data and pretend I don't know how to get past it for you if you want," she offered.

"Pretty sure you'd bitch about that anyway," she pointed out, "but fine. As soon as it's done transfering, I'll see what I can do."
And, considering she was very much not a tech person, would be very glad to have the state of the encryption blamed on the century and not just the person doing it.

"Probably. But it's more fun with a reason." He ate a bit of his own food, then waved the fork at the computer. "What's next? Anything fun?"
