The Perk, Tuesday Morning
It was Tuesday, and Tuesday for the last couple months meant Will would be working a shift at the clinic here in Fandom. However, late last night he'd gotten a call from Agent Lee- they'd finally apprehended all the Burkes, and it was officially safe for him to return to Chicago. So instead of getting ready for his normal shift, he'd spent the morning packing up his duffel, cramming in the few belongings he'd brought with him as well as the handful of things he'd picked up in his time here.
(Like a certain firearm that was very securely locked away in a portable gun safe at the bottom of that duffel.)
And now... well, he had time to kill before his ride was scheduled to pick him up at the end of the causeway and take him to the airport. So after making a few calls, he figured he might as well spend it at the coffee shop, with a muffin and one of those pistachio lattes (The barista- and Buck- had been right, they were delicious), duffel bag at his feet as he settled in at a table.
[ooc: spoiler alert, he's not actually leaving forever. but this *is* his last post before he goes home to go through some canon.]

And ya know.. the whole potentially life-saving thing too if it hadn't been a time loop and all.

You know, since the old one had been thanks to a deal with a guy who was not exactly inclined to do anything nice for Will these days.

All he’d gotten for that was, you know. Anxiety.

"Dude, you can't say goodbye via voicemail, if I were your girlfriend I'd be really pissed off right now." Said a guy who undoubtedly broken up with several girlfriends over voicemail.

Was he anticipating a building block or two to the face? Maybe.
