Covent Garden Flowers; Wednesday [01/26].
Things were...very quiet in the flower shop that day.
Suspiciously quiet, actually, because, sure, it wa still January, but Astrid had worked enough Valentine's Day in a flower shop to know that they should be starting to feel those first hints of the holiday crunch, but the fact that they weren't yet just made her feel like that meant everyone was definitely going to be waiting until the very last minute to order their flowers, and wouldn't that be a fun time for all of them?
And so, suddenly suspicious, she went to see exactly what day the 14th actually was, and honestly? She felt like Monday was the best day it could have possibly have fallen on, as far as her having to deal with stuff went.
So she was just going to enjoy the quiet while it lasted and tried to think of some unique designs for some Valentine's Day postcards in the meantime.
