Diaz & Ass., Monday [01/31].
There was a small pile of assorted weapons building on Rosa's desk that day, as she seemed to be going through the entire office, extracting weapons from various cleverly disguised hiding places, frowning at the weapon in question, and then dismissing it on the desk. A few of them were revealed with a little bit of hopefulness, followed by a "Dammit!" upon further inspection, as it was then tossed onto the pile. Most daggers and guns, with a hatchet, some throwing stars, a table leg with nails sticking out of it, and, at one point, a large broadsword that had inexplicably been stashed inside of a potted plant in the corner, but she still seemed dissastified with her search.
She was usually much better about remembering where she had all her weapons hidden in a given place, and, really, the office's decor wasn't that complex, there were onl so many weapons-hiding spaces that were available...
Then inspiration struck, she snapped her fingers, as she remembered. "The floor boards!"
Which was why she was then on the floor trying to remember which one was the loose one.
By the time she actually did find the weapon she was looking for, she'd have probably forgotten why she'd been looking for that specific one in the first place.
Diaz & Ass. is open!
[[ and, as usual, Rosa gets the standard 'work related SP cavaet' on this and all previous postings! ]]

So she stared at Miguel for a long moment before asking, "You seriously don't hear that?"

"Yeah," she scoffed, taking a moment to roll her eyes before moving to the next floorboard. "I'm the one being the smartass, and standing around, pretending to not hear that...that..."
She trailed off in a sudden burst of nearly primal irritation.
"Aaaauggh! Where," she spun around and renewed her efforts with a new rage-inspired vigor, "is it coming from?"

He perked up. "Actually, I can call him now if you want help getting those up."
