Dite's Decadent Delights | Wednesday
It was February, which meant it was almost Valentine's Day, which meant it was a very busy time to own a sex shop. Particularly if you were the sort of person Irene was, and tended to throw yourself wholly into whatever endeavor had your focus at the moment.
So while she was still strongly considering seeking out a little magical help ahead of her open house next week, she'd still already decorated the store to her own abilities. (Or, well, fine, she'd paid a helpful person or three whose names she'd immediately forgotten, same difference.) And while tacky hearts being suspended from the ceiling and stuck to the windows certainly had their appeal, Irene was more focused on her merchandise displays, as always.
That was where any shoppers might find her today, actually -- very near the front of the store, adjusting the wares on a table that bore a sign reading 'Lonely Hearts Club,' along with quite the assortment of vibrators. No reason to let a silly Hallmark holiday make you sad, friends -- it was 2022. You were a strong, independent person who didn't need no partner to get off, thank you.
