The Photo Hut; Monday [02/28].
Had Prompto spent a good chunk of his day yesterday trying to cull through the honestly impressively vast amount of pictures he'd taken on the trip? Yes. Was he still working his way through that immense quatity of photographic evidence during his shift at the shop today? Also very much yes.
At least by this point, though, he'd managed to sort out all the weird angles of mostly sky and horizon, all the accidental ground shots, the failed attempts to be clever by trying to shoot through foilage and just pretty much getting jumbled brambles of bushes and whatnot, and the surprisingly frequent instances of butt shots of the other guys, which didn't even make much sense, because the only activity they really all did together was the bush ride where they were all sitting down the whole time.
Weird.
But, anyway, he'd be more than happy to stop if anyone happened to pop in looking for some help (except maybe you, burgeoning gremlin mafia!), but until then, it was back to sorting and picking out which pictures were really worth keeping, which clearly needed to be every single absurdly frequent intance of him being an absolute dork thinking it was funny to take a picture of Liz taking a picture of him (who was taking a picture of Liz, probably).
The Photo Hut is open!
[[ and it will never not be funny to poke fun at just how frequent ground and butt shots show up on Prompto's camera rolls, I'm sorry ]]

“Hi,” she smiled brightly once she was downstairs, “how’s the photo sorting going?” she asked, nodding towards his camera with a grin.

His grin went back to her. "But they're good," he said. Mostly. And to prove it, he turned the camera her way to show off the shot he was currently on, of some of the zebras they'd seen during their camel ride.
Or was that from the car tour? The bikes? It didn't really matter.

"You had a good time, though?"
He'd probably already asked her some variation of that question a few times already, sure, but, you know, it was just one of those things, didn't hurt to check, right?

That was a bit of an understatement Liz.
There was a pause then as Prompto asked her if she’d had a good time and she nodded, “I had a great time,” Liz assured him with a smile, “thank you again for inviting me,”

He would probably make it through all those pictures before his face stopped vaguely resembling a strawberry, really.
"I know," he teased, his hand reaching out to find hers, "it was a real sacrifice, when you coulda just stayed here all week instead."

The gorgeous location and incredible photo ops hadn't been the only great things about the trip, after all.
He was pretty sure the next two days were going to be the longest days of his life.

Over two days.
But like Liz said, last week had spoiled him something rotten.
"The only upside is the fact that at least I'll get to rub it all in Noct's face the whole time."
And even that he wouldn't do, because he'd realize that was kind of cruel, when Noctis really couldn't go out and do stuff like this without it being a whole big deal and a security risk, and so je'd probably just keep the pictures and stories he shared to a minimum and wind up feeling bad that they didn't spend nearly as much time together these days now....
no subject
Yes it was only for two days but Liz was pretty sure it was going to feel longer than that.

"I mean," Prompto chuckled a little, "he's definitely been getting enough selfies and updates throughout the week that he's complained about it at least a few times, but that's the thing with Noct. Complaining is how he shows he cares."
Noctis, of course, would die this fact, and that he even complained at all.
By complaining.
no subject
Then Noctis would really complain about it, wouldn’t he?
no subject
Because if Noct thought all of Prompto's selfies were bad...

Just wait until you found out about Gentiana, Prompto; her photobomb game would make Gladio's butt look like a hack.

"Oh," he said, with confidence, "at least 95 percent sure. I mean, he's gotta, there weren't nearly as many Ignis butts."
And if you'd have told Prompto that morning that he'd be spending a significant amount of time talking about his coworkers' butts with his girlfriend, he'd have patted you on the shoulder and told you to try to avoid the gremlins next time.

“You see how many different photobombing angles you can get of everyone,” she added with a laugh.

He shook his head and grinned lopsidedly.
"Is that something I should be worried about, that you're encouraging this?"

Starting with a very grave nod of his head and a slightly too long thoughtful pause.
"Gladio's," he said, with a resigned sigh and a shake of his head in accepting disappointment. "I knew it..."

"I mean, the camera doesn't lie," he grinned, shrugged as he lifted it for emphasis. "That thing's like a magnet."

And he'd also decided that there was too much cute going on in the other side of this conversation for him to handle, and so something had to be done about it because it was too late. And that something was going to be reaching for Liz, to put his arm around her and pull her in to kiss her.
There was definitely usually more kissing going on by this point, they clearly needed to make up for lost time.

Liz let out another giggle as Prompto pulled her in close to him and she happily leaned in to meet his lips in a kiss.
