Blackstone Foundry and Forge; Thursday [03/03].
You know what probably wasn't a great idea? Working with incredibly hot steel, a lot of fire, and a very heavy hammer when you couldn't seem to stop yawning every five minutes or so. But was Amaya going to let something like that stop her? Of course not! She must have just really had a rough night sleeping last night because she felt like she just could not wake up, attempting to work was definitely not going to do anything for this headache she had, and, worst of all, it seemed like her coffee wasn't doing anything.
"I'm gonna need you to start stepping it up," she informed her mug as she came back down into the shop from upstairs with her next attempt at caffeination. "This here's a group effort. I can't do this alone!"
She chugged about half the mug in one fell swoop, let out a loud sigh as if that would help encourage it to get to work, and then dutifully returned to her work, wincing a little with each pound of the hammer, breaking away into looooong stretches of yawning consistently enough to set a watch by, and ignoring the voice in the back of her head telling her it was all a wash and she should just go have a nap.
Zounds, but a nap did sound pretty great just about now...
The Forge is open!

She'll get to it in a second. There wa another yawn to handle, and you'd better believe, as soon as she felt it coming on, she was going to make sure to stretch that baby out as much as she could.
"There's the door. You can head on back to your own shop and declare that a yawn-free zone, but not on my turf, buddy."
Coming into her shop! Telling her not to yawn! Which might have seemed a bit much to get irritated about, but, for some reason, she was feeling a bit quicker to irritation than usual that morning.

Walking in he set the two cups of coffee, that he was beginning to think more and more was nothing more than bitter brown water at this point, on the counter. Beside them he put the box of doughnuts he had also picked up along with another smaller box that had the distinct smell of wood shavings and probably even had a little still on the box itself.
"Peace offering?" Dwight asked with a slight nod towards the goodies, as he gave Amaya another apologetic smile.

"Offering accepted," she said, begrudgingly, with the slightest shake of her head in defeat. "I'll certainly not be saying no to more coffee....I'm pretty sure mine's on strike."
She said it as a joke, of course, not even realizing how truly unfunny the reality of it actually was.

"Well, can't hurt anyways. Maybe the stuff will finally kick in for the both of us" he said with a half hearted laugh.
And then he felt it that twinge of a yawn after watching Amaya give so many yawns in the few minutes he had been there. It was a wonder he had lasted that long to be honest. And so, with a big yawn of his own, Dwight shook his head and glanced at Amaya.
"Maybe we can make it through the morning at least... hopefully long enough for you to see what I brought for the lobsters" he said with a tired smile.

She then considered the sword she was working on, noticing way too many flaws already and almost dreading having to fix them right now, so she just figured it was as good as scrap and plunged it into the quench to cool it down to deal with later, just as Dwight got around to that last part.
Well. That was something. She looked up from the quench with a lift of her brows.
"You brought something for the lobsters?"
Oh, it was one hundred percent the lack of caffeine talking here, but she might have almost sounded a little touched. Like she was too tired to not be.

totally moddabletrinkets and items, including a few weapons and such of course, all conveniently lobster sized."Had some scrap wood from the counter still left that was too small to make anything like handles or what not, so decided to do some whittling and carving to put them to good use." Dwight glanced Amaya and grinned. "Took inspiration from our talk the other day. I have few other pieces I am still working on but the last of the counter wood is almost all used up now."
And did Dwight almost sounds sad? maybe, but now that the trip was over, there was that to do list waiting for him to tackle. As... as soon as they got to the bottom of this sudden sleepiness that seemed to be taking over the entire town!
