The Photo Hut; Monday [03/07].
Not that the coffee and booze thing would have affected Prompto all that much, but the timely planned escape to Eos had proven to be an excellent idea and was wildly successful, if Prompto could say so himself! Liz ended up loving the chocobos, and she and Noctis had gotten along, and they'd even managed to avoid any awkwardness with Gladio by heading back to Fandom probably just as he was heading back to Insomnia, like contentious ships passing in the night. It just felt really good, too, that everything seemed to be going well...
...almost a little too well, which meant that he was definitely wondering when the other shoe was going to eventually drop, but, you know what? All the more reason to just soak it in and enjoy it while he could. And who knew? Maybe his luck really had started to turn around!
Ha ha ha ha, yeah, right. But he definitely wasn't going to think about any of that right now. He was just going to busy himself with putting away some new stock, maybe reorganizing the old stock, and singing the chocobo song under his breath as he did it.

"Swamped," he informed her importantly. "As usual."
As she could plainly see, too.

He paused for a moment to add one last canister on the very top of the structure with careful, delicate hands, and then stepped back, next to her, arms held out as if willing it to keep standing.
When it didn't even sway, he glanced over with a grin. "It's all been very important work, as you can see."

Yes she had thanked him quite a bit over the weekend already but she felt she needed to thank him a few more times at least.

"I'm just glad you liked it," he said, then he laughed a little, the pink turning more red before he added, "It was a pretty good weekend, though, wasn't it?"

She was just glad that everything had gone really well and they’d been able to have a nice time away.

Although he supposed if she really wanted to, she could, like, burn her way out, but, shhh, there was no room for logic in all of this that was basically just an excuse to glomp all over her.

A pause.
"Besides our never-ending drove of constant customers, anyway."
