Fandom Lighthouse- Saturday Afternoon

With warmer weather finally on the way, Kurt decided it was too nice of a weekend to stay cooped up in the dorms all day. And so after a quick breakfast, and with camera ready in hand, he headed off for the lighthouse. He had been meaning to go there and get some pictures, but hadn't been up to braving the winter snow and ice.

And while it still might be too cold for him to hit the water, Kurt was definitely excited to check out the lighthouse finally. Maybe he could even get up tot he top! Those would be some amazing photos to be sure!

Guillermo really needed to get out more decided to do a bit more exploring around the island now that the weather was a bit nicer and found himself out near the lighthouse so he decided to check it out.

He spotted his roommate and waved, “hey this place is awesome isn’t it?” he grinned.

Kurt was glad to see someone else out and about- adventures were always more fun with someone to enjoy them with.

"Hey roomie!" he said with a big grin and a wave. "Yeah there's so many cool things to see and take pictures of around here!"

He snapped off a few pics of the waves crashing around the rocks at the base of the lighthouse and then turned to Guillermo.

"How have you been doing?"

“I’ve been pretty good, thanks,” Guillermo grinned, as he looked out in the direction Kurt was taking photos, the waves were pretty cool, “just been keeping busy with classes mostly, at least the weather’s a bit warmer now,” he added, “thought it might be fun to look around the island a bit more,” he said, “how about you? How’s your photography class going?”

"Classes are all good. Glad things are winding down here for the term"Kurt admitted. "But its been a good one. Lot better than the old school thats for sure!"

“It’s weird to think we’ve been here nearly three months isn’t it?” Guillermo nodded, “but I do agree about it being better than the old school,” he told Kurt. “Fandom is definitely a lot better,”

"It seems like we just got off the shuttle last week at times" Kurt said with a laugh and a nod. "And there is still so much to see and do... and get used to..." though Kurt had to admit he was probably better prepared for the oddness than a lot of people were.

"Have you been inside the lighthouse yet?" Kurt asked, looking up at the towering heights once more.

“I haven’t yet,” Guillermo admitted, “I keep meaning to check it out but I haven’t been out this far,” he said, “have you been inside?” he tilted his head at Kurt.

"Not yet" Kurt said with a disappointed shake of his head. "I've actually been trying to figure out if I can teleport to the top of it or not. Haven't been brave enough to try it yet..."

“That would actually be kind of cool if you could,” Guillermo said, looking up the lighthouse, “maybe if you saw what it was like up there first and then tried teleporting?” he suggested.

"Aye, that would be the best way to do it. I could try to port up there now but...." Kurt looked at Guillermo and then back up to the lighthouse. "It's risky to port when I don't know exactly where I am going. I'm getting better with it... but not sure I could make that distance mostly blind just yet... but still...."

No Kurt... don't.

“I wonder what would happen if you did teleport up there without knowing?” Guillermo couldn’t help but wonder, “what would happen if you tried to do that?”

Guillermo don’t encourage him.

"Flat travel, it would likely just be I don't make it fully it where I intended to land" Kurt pondered for a moment. "Like if I tried to port from here over to the Sushi place" he said lifting hand in that general direction, "and only made it halfway on the boardwalk. But I've never tried to go vertically with a port more than to get a rooftop or something....So I am not even sure I can get that high.... Could always try and see?"
