Covent Garden Flowers; Wednesday [04/27].

All the flowers had been so quiet recently, it seemed, so Astrid wasn't really expecting to be serenaded for her last day here at the flower shop, but the plants really pulled it out for her, especially the guitar-playing orchid. And she thanked them for all the good shifts here by painting them little flower-sized portraits to hang up on their pots again and maybe do a few more rounds of smashing pots and gluing them back together in interesting ways, for old times sake.

So not a whole lot of work was getting done that day, but Astrid was realizing that she was going to sort of miss this place, and it was interesting to see the plants try to vie for her attention when she started to look into which ones might be good ones to take with her to New York next week.

(Other than the oleander, of course).
