Anakin was still in this kriffing coffee shop, still wearing skinny jeans, and still with his hair up in a man bun.

His latte-making skills, thanks to Rey and Youtube, had improved dramatically.

His mood had not, though that might've been because of the "PROBLEMATIC FAVE" shirt he was now forced to wear.

Vengeance would be his someday. SOME. DAY.

But for now, well, it was never not the time for Skywalker drama, right? Right.

Stark just wanted some coffee. Lucky for him half the island was serving coffee now. Maybe 3/4s of it.

"Hello, Anakin," he said, blinking a few times at the clothing and the hair (and the fact that Anakin was behind a counter).

"Hello and welcome to Chilly Boulder," Anakin said, sounding dead inside. "What kind of coffee would you like? My specialty is black."

"I like it better sweet," Stark said, very predictably. "What did you do to your hair?"

[sith_happened]

Anakin looked like he wanted to cry out of frustration and not out of a need for some fanficcer to show his vulnerability. "It's a man bun. I can't make it go away."

"Oh. It's... different."

Stark was trying not to smile at his friend's misfortune. Trying.

"I'm sorry?"

[sith_happened]

"Me too," Anakin said sulkily.

His beautiful hair, Stark!

Stark did not have beautiful hair this weekend. The fans seemed to have neglected that in favor of more leather than he usually wore here.

"It will probably be over soon? I think. I hope."

[sith_happened]

"No," Anakin said dramatically. "I am doomed to a life of a mediocre barista."

[stykera]

"Probably not forever," Stark said soothingly. "I looked for you yesterday. At the...wedding."

[sith_happened]

"That was certainly a thing that happened," Anakin said dryly.

[stykera]

"It was," Stark agreed. "I haven't been to many weddings but that one seemed odd."

Not just because he spent a little while making out with Summer before attempting to officiate before the whole thing turned into a duel.

"Well, Jaina's weddings are always memorable," Anakin said. "And I've been to all of them."

[stykera]

"Has she had many?" Stark asked.

He had no idea.

"Wait. Were you there yesterday?"

[sith_happened]

"On Rey's phone," Anakin said. "I can't leave this building."

[stykera]

"Oh. I didn't see Rey. I was...distracted."

That was one way to put it, right?

"I hope you're not trapped much longer."

[sith_happened]

"No, I'm stuck forever, wearing this t-shirt and failing at making leaves in foam," Anakin sighed.

[stykera]

"I wondered about the shirt," Stark admitted. "Why are you making leaves? Or not making leaves?"

[sith_happened]

"I was hoping that coffee art was the key to me leaving here, but it's not," Anakin said.

[stykera]

Maybe you just needed to suck up to one of the fans, Anakin! Then you might get set free to go...pine after Obi-Wan?

"Oh. I don't need art. Or I can get coffee somewhere else." At nearly any other storefront. "If that would help?"

[sith_happened]

Or a threesome with Ahsoka! The fans were fickle.

"Please don't leave me here alone."

There were other threesome opportunities, Anakin. Satine, maybe? Qui-Gon? Padme?

"I can stay if you like," Stark agreed. "Don't want to abandon you." It would be cruel to abandon Anakin in his hour of manbun-ed need.

It was such a terrible manbun.

"Thank you," Anakin said, sliding the coffee across to him.
