Spring was well and truly in the air, and Irene was celebrating with a farewell to her sleeves. She also had the doors open to let in the warm (if a skosh muggy) air, and had discreetly moved most of the things not fit for random passers-by to spot on a walk back a bit further in the shop.

Was she tempted to do up a little Mother's Day display? Yes, but there were some lines of taste that even she wouldn't cross to make a sale.
