Blackstone Foundry and Forge; Tuesday [05/17].
Amaya finally had the energy and the restfulness to work properly again, and so you'd better believe she was going to take advantage of it! Especially after last week was such a wash. Not only that, but the giant shuriken was no longer lodged into the wall on its side anymore! It was a simple favor, sure, but there was no way that weapon was getting out of that wall any other way besides demolition, so she was pleased to have it back to its rightful place hanging on the weapons wall instead of sticking out of it.
No matter how many barriers she put around it, that thing was just a safety hazard, really. Especially now with her summer workshop and, she couldn't help feeling, with that Llewdor boy in the class.
Because once she'd had some sleep, she was able to start putting a few things together, from the shiny gold coin left behind to his family name. She didn't know much about the Crackers, but there'd been a few things whispered here and there, nothing more than idle gossip or horror stories about dentistry. Mostly, it just felt a little...odd, knowing there was a hometown boy in their midsts now, even if Amaya hadn't even been back to Llewdor since she was...oh, probably right around his age herself.
Which all made for contemplative work, as she focused particularly on the sharpness of an edge she hoped wouldn't have to come into play when she talked to that hometown boy about those sticky fingers of his.
The Forge is open!
