The Perk, Wednesday afternoon

Lana was in a good mood today, and had nothing Fandom-wise on her plate, so she was absolutely going to treat herself to a large pistachio latte while she sat at a table with her datapad and comm uplink and vetted and recommended placements for some new Alliance recruits.

If she was sending some of the "probably not traitors, but most likely annoying" people to work for Dr. Oggurobb, that was her own business. If they couldn't put up with an enthusiastic hutt, they could always leave.

Meanwhile, there was a Sith with a fancy drink and a couple holodisplays sitting at a window table, enjoying the coffee and weather.

Lucille still had boxes to unpack, but she had taken a break to go for a walk along the beach, and stopped by the Perk on the way home. While ordering she glanced at the woman with the strange displays - although strange was hardly uncommon here - and tried to recall if she had seen the face before.

Judging people's origin by their accents was unreliable here, Lucille knew.

"Good afternoon," she said. "Have we met before? Are you from England by any chance?"

"Lucille Sharpe." She accepted the handshake gently.

"As you have probably guessed from my question, I am from Earth. Are you new here?"

"That is not unheard of here," Lucille observed. "I myself was a student, but time where I am from passed more or less the same. What brought you back?"

"I decided to return when my brother passed away," Lucille said. "Now I own the flower shop. My time offer few opportunities for women, and I have few good memories from it."
