Another shift at the new job and Connor was still just as excited about getting settled and getting the feel for this place. That morning he spent some time going through another one of the impressively detailed binders Blathers had made up. But as his eyes were beginning to cross a bit from looking at the pages for so long, Connor decided it was time to move on to something else. And so with Rex perched on the top of one of the shelves, napping contentedly in a warm sunbeam, Connor began inspecting some of the displays and items that were out in the lobby area, figuring that was as good a place as any to get familiar with, in case anyone happened to stop by during his shift.

"Well, Rexy" he called up to the sleeping lizard. "Time for another exciting day!" Connor said with a grin as he flipped over the sign hanging on the door from CLOSED to OPEN.
