At some point, Amaya planned on heading over the fire station to chat it up with Travis a little more about those pike poles they'd discussed in class last week, but for now, she was definitely in a sort of experimental stage, where she was putting all her research into action just play playing around with the variations on the hook-and-spike combo, which, if you know even the slightest thing about Amaya Blackstone's aesthetic, you'd know was right up her alley.
And she could think of a lot of variations on a hook-and-spike combo, and it was simple enough that it didn't take her long at the forge at all to really get a feel for the design of it, and it almost made her little disappointed that it was already feeling like this project probably wouldn't even take that long at all.
Unless Travis surprised her and wanted to go real fancy with it...but at least he could be confident that she had a good sense of the form and what it might need for treatment already.
