Was Steph more than a little bit sore from her ill-fated attempts to climb that damn greased flagpole yesterday? Definitely.
Was that stopping her from rearranging the queer games display to put Thirsty Sword Lesbians, Monsterhearts, and The Queer Agenda in the spotlight section for this week? Despite the occasional muttered "ow," nope.
Was it stopping her from finishing up a little pirate ship made out of craft foam scraps, complete with a rainbow sail and skull-and-crossbones flag, and outfitting Little Bot with it? Absolutely not, although as far as actually trying to get Saffron to ride on it -- much less try to get that cat into a pirate costume -- went she was going to leave that for Vi to do, given that she was the human that Saffron actually liked.
And it for sure wasn't going to stop her from doing her research and writing up her notes for tomorrow's radio show, either. It was kind of nice to be back in the booth, Steph had to admit; she didn't think she really wanted to get back to that full time, but to have the chance to do it again for this month was pretty damn awesome.
