Watts was no stranger to ridiculous calls coming in to the police station, but even he had to admit this was on a whole new level.

“You can’t leave your house,” he said slowly, “because you are being threatened by… a crab. With a knife. Outside your front door.” A pause. “I see. I’ll send someone over to investigate.”

“Yes, yes, of course right away. I assure you, sir, I am taking this seriously.”

Steve came in at the end of that. "I just saw a electric sledgehammer on a ridiculously long extension cord if that will help?"

"I... didn't realize those came in electric," Watts said.

"We'll find out soon enough, as I've sent... whatsisface," no, he had not learned the Troopers' names (well, the names of those who deigned to share them, anyway) yet, and no, he was not particularly bothered by this, "to investigate."

Steve did quick headcount. "Ralph?" he guessed.
