[what_the_shock]

Miguel wasn't sure if today would be dead because everyone was at Pride, or busy because the people at Pride might want to stop for real food and more hydration. He still showed up, though, and discovered when he did that the employees had already made up the specials board.

"You know what? That last one's a stretch, but I'll allow it."

For Dwight it was definitely a combination of the need for both food and hydration that brought him in.

"Nice theme there" he said with a grin and a nod towards the specials board. "Think we can get a fully loaded burger and fries with a large ice coke?"

"Sure." Miguel shrugged. "Might want to define 'fully loaded' before you end up with peanut butter on it, though. Unless that's your thing."

[alwaysonguard]

"Oh let's keep it to the normal stuff this time" Dwight replied with a laugh. "Let's go with lettuce, tomatoes, bacon, cheese, mayo and ketchup."

[what_the_shock]

"Right." Miguel put the order in and went to get Dwight's drink. "Settling back in okay?"

"For the most part" Dwight said with a shrug. "Things are a bit... different... in some areas, but I've got things back up and running as far as the important stuff goes."

"Sounds good. And there's food in your fridge?" he checked.

[alwaysonguard]

"Yes yes, fridge is pretty well stocked" Dwight assured him. "I even managed to convince myself to do some actual cooking the other day so been eating through the leftovers. I think I can safely add simple lasagna to the list o things I can successfully cook now" he added with a laugh.

"Hey, that's not bad. Good for you," Miguel said. "Now you've got lasagna and coffee under your belt - that's a whole meal!"

Dwight gave Miguel a look. "Hey, I can cook a few more things than that" he said, trying to sound offended but braking into a grin anyways. "Not much... but a few more at least!"

"Figure out boiling water, you'll be good," Miguel said.

His order came up, and Miguel shifted it over to him. "Ketchup?"

"Hey now, I've been a master of mac and cheese for years now!"

Dwight considered the burger for a moment then nodded. "Yeah, thanks."

And after enjoying the first bite, there was a brief pause for an important question.

"You and Rosa doing alright?"

"Oh, yeah. Rosa's in a great mood lately. She was going to hit up Pride today with the dog. I never figured dogs would be a big thing at festivals, but live and learn."

[alwaysonguard]

"Dogs are good for everything really" Dwight said with a smirk. "Good to hear Rosa is doing well. Everyone's day is better when she's in a good mood."

[what_the_shock]

"I mean, yeah." Miguel grinned. "For a few reasons."
