Steph was a little sorry that Pride weekend was over with, but she also had to admit that not having to stress out over it any more was a relief. Of course she still had Free RPG Day to do this Saturday, but she'd been working on plans for that long before the idea of running Pride had gotten into her head and there wasn't much left to do except get everything set up in the morning.

Still, it felt weird to not be juggling three or four projects on top of her usual store duties, so she was spending a good chunk of time texting pictures from the weekend to the Haven Springs gang and some friends from Seattle. That got her quite the dichotomy of reactions, for sure... but it was cool as hell to find out that Alex, Jesse and his boyfriend, and a few other people were trying to get together a small Pride picnic of their own this upcoming weekend. Which, according to Jesse, wouldn't have happened if she hadn't gotten the ball rolling by doing a full month of Pride programming on KRCT for two summers running.

Guess she'd really left a lasting impression on that town after all. Cool.

As for this town? Yeah, it was starting to feel like that here, too.

Now if I could just figure out what the hell to do with these piles of pine cones...

The damn things kept multiplying somehow.
