With a break in the summer sessions ahead of him, Shunsui knew it was only a matter of time before he would be inundated with Jigokuchō from Nanao-chan about using his time wisely and returning to the Seireitei for various training and other things like....you know...doing his job. Which, of course, was a categorically unpleasant prospect, one that he knew was inevitable, but one that he figured he should try and put off for as long as possible, and then, once he was there, he could focus on trying to get out of it even still with making other plans with other Shinigami to continue to avoid it.

Which meant he figured he'd best try and get in some good park bench napping now while he still could. His time here would surely be limited; he was honestly a little surprised he hadn't been assaulted with hell butterflies the second his class was over on Monday.

Maybe Nanao-chan was in a bit of a rare good mood.

Or maybe she was just giving him a small amount of grace before unloading on him the nightmare of paperwork that surely awaited him.

Whatever it was, he was resolved to not worry about it until he absolutely had to and, for now, just enjoying a nice quiet nap on his favorite bench by the duck pond.
