Today was definitely a coffee day. To be fair, all days were, but still.

Miguel was on his third cup when the cook nudged him back into the kitchen and plopped a pile of vegetables in front of him. "You'll be jittery for hours. Put that energy to good use."

"You know I don't really...you know what, never mind. What am I cutting them for?"

Holy shit. Holy shit. No one had ever told Gray that sugar cookie waffles were an option before, which meant that everyone who had not told him that sugar cookie waffles were an option was fired.

The youngest of the deadly sins could be found in a corner booth, furiously texting his brother Raiden about how he had failed him while he waited for his first (because he was pretty sure he was going to need seconds) order of waffles.

"Get you some coffee?" Miguel offered.

"Oh, no thank you," Gray told him. "It doesn't help that much. Can I get some orange juice, though?" Orange juice with waffles. Someone was lucky he couldn't develop diabetes.

"Sure thing." Hey, Miguel didn't judge.

Well, he judged about a lot of things, but not juice.

He went and got it and set it down in front of him. "Anything else?"
