Rey's warehouse- Friday afternoon

Rey had spent part of the week at home, and returned with BB-8. She almost thought she wouldn't, that Poe would have changed his mind and decided to keep him there, but he hadn't. Turns out she was relieved for that, even if he didn't have much to do in the warehouse besides annoy/befriend the woodchucks and watch Rey train.

And for today, that meant meditating, which she was actually kind of into today, even despite weird dreams. She was even a floating a couple inches off the floor while she sat with her eyes closed, and though she was aware of it, it kind of helped, like maybe she was finally getting it together a little bit more?

"Rey?" Anakin called, coming into the warehouse.

"I'm here," she said, concentration intact.

[sith_happened]

"That's going well," Anakin said, settling onto the ground nearby.

[thatwaslucky]

"What is?" she asked.

[sith_happened]

"The floating," Anakin said.

Beat.

"You know you're floating, right?"

[thatwaslucky]

"Yeah," she said, peeking one eye open. "I wasn't trying to, it just happened."

"Very Jedi," Anakin said, grinning.

[thatwaslucky]

"I still don't call myself that," she pointed out.

Give it a month.

"I know," Anakin said. "But you don't see a lot of non-Jedi humans floating in mid-air."

Rey lowered her legs to push herself into a normal standing position. "Is a couple inches midair...?"

[sith_happened]

"Yes, that counts," Anakin said, smiling.

[thatwaslucky]

Rey smiled. "Some days are just more on than others, I think."

[sith_happened]

"You seem much less frustrated this week," Anakin said.

[thatwaslucky]

"Leia had me doing a lot of meditating," Rey explained. "She thinks I can contact the Jedi who came before, so it feels like I have something to work towards, I think."

[sith_happened]

"If any of them knew me, tell them I'm sorry," Anakin said.

[thatwaslucky]

"I'll remember that. Though so far I'm having no luck."

And one of those Jedi might be her Anakin, who knew!

That would be super weird!

"Start with Obi-Wan," Anakin advised with a smile.

[thatwaslucky]

"Any particular reason?" Rey asked.

[sith_happened]

Anakin's smile widened. "Because he's my favorite."

[thatwaslucky]

"Well, that's good enough for me," Rey said.

[sith_happened]

"I thought you might appreciate that," Anakin said. "I also think you'd've gotten along very well."

[thatwaslucky]

"I would have liked to meet him, I think," Rey admitted. "He's showed up in some of the holocron files Kanan gave me, but that's it."

[sith_happened]

Anakin smiled. "What was he talking about?"

[thatwaslucky]

"A couple lightsaber training things. Pretty mundane," she told him.

The warning Obi-wan sent about not returning to the temple was also on there, but that was kind of rough.

Yeah, Anakin was having a tough enough time with Fridays and the "let's make Sith seem reasonable" class.

Anakin grinned. "He wasn't bad. I was just better."
