The club's opening was finally coming up again, and now Miss Smith wasn't in town. It was not ideal, and Lucifer badly hoped this disappearing trick wouldn't last too long, and--

"Tiny, stop that."

Tiny looked away from his giant pyramid of martini glasses.

"Actually," Lucifer corrected, "Never mind, keep going. I'll get the champagne."
