Drunk and Bored club, Saturday night on the beach

Last week had definitely been a Thing, so Miguel was absolutely on the beach today with plenty of booze.

And a panther. And no, Rosa, panthers did not get whiskey.

Or beer.

There was a steak for the panther, and a twelve-pack of decent beer and a bottle of tequila for anyone who showed up. That was human or human-adjacent.

The Drunk and Bored club was in session!

Billy had spent a good bit of the day at the beach surfing so when he was done and finished with the cool down afterwards, he figured he might as well stop by the D&B club for a bit.... since he was already practically there.

And so there was Billy, giving a nod to Miguel as he chose a new patch of sand and sat, a few cans of beer and his pack of smokes in hand.

"Friend of yours?" he asked with a nod towards the Panther. It was still weird. really weird. but he was starting to wrap his brain around the fact that that was something that did in fact happen around here. Quite often too, judging by the last few radios he had managed to catch.

"Rosa," Miguel answered. He toasted Billy with his beer. "I think she does it to spite me."

Billy glanced at Panther!Rosa for a moment then scooted a little farther away with a slightly nervous laugh. He raised his beer in a return toast and held out the cigarettes. "Cloves?" he offered.

Miguel made a face. "I can't believe anyone still smokes in this time. No. What's the attraction?"

"Guess the same reason people still drink or smoke weed..." Billy said with a shrug. "Makes people feel good.... so they do it." And ya know screw what it does to the body. Who needs them anyways!
