Eric was at the bar tonight, enjoying a Manhattan expertly poured by Tiny and relaxing.

Tiny was creating an elaborate three-dimensional castle made entirely out of cocktail olives in a cabinet under the bar.

Eric was very much ignoring that.

The Devil's Nest was open!

"I will absolutely tell you that," Eric said.

Whether it was true...eh. Probably.

"Hm. I think I will avoid anything with an olive garnish all the same. How about a Merlot?" Watts asked.

"Tiny, get the man his merlot," Eric said, waving lazily at the bartender.

The wine arrived olive-free.

"My thanks," he told Tiny.

"Has anyone been able to ascertain a purpose for the sculpture or have we all decided it's better not to know?" he asked Eric.

"The second one," Eric said with a smirk.

"Hmm," Watts hummed around the edge of his wine glass. "Perhaps there is some wisdom in that."

"It's that or never drinking a martini again," Eric admitted.

"And here's where I confess I've no idea what that is," Watts said after the player did some googling. "Other than, as I gather, a drink that does require an olive garnish."

"Gin, vermouth, and an olive," Eric said, nodding. "You can add olive brine if you want to make it dirty."

"... Whyever would you want to?"

Eric gestured at Tiny. "You're really into olives?"
