Blackstone Foundry and Forge; Monday [08/29].
Don't mind Amaya. She was just going to be pretty much spending a good portion of her day continually trying to chuck every little bit of luggage and baggage that popped up straight into the fire, everything from the nice broad ones that touched on abandonment issues and self-esteem and fear of commitment, to the more specific ones that were so kind as to remind her of things like 'why you have two anvils' and 'that one time you married someone you have genuine feelings for'.
Sure, she knew that they'd just be back as soon as she'd destroyed them, but it was the principle of the matter. It was the catharsis of it all, though it was a little concerning how they seemed to be getting more narrowed down and specific the more she tossed them in, regretting the moment when all that was stamped on them was a few names that would inevitably show up.
"I'm gonna need a bigger forge," she murmured, shaking her head, and poking at the slowly burning baggage with a stick to make more room for the next one.
The Forge is open!
[[ like I could even resist....]]

Amaya's brows lifted, as did her eyes.
"You want maybe moving targets?" she wondered.
Because she definitely wanted to work on some kind of moving target mechanism, now, ones that there had been particular care in making resistant to a whole slew of elements. In fact, she was wondering now if some of her materia might not come in handy with this one.
And, yes, yes, thank you, steamer trunk informing them all that Amaya sunk herself into her work to avoid dealing with other things, we all saw you, but you weren't exactly bringing anything new to the table right now, unlike Aloy, so you could just bugger off, she was busy!

"Moving targets would be nice," Aloy said thoughtfully. "Back home I've never been able to get much more than... straw, standing ones. Those will do in a pinch, but they're not much of a challenge."

"Might take a bit more doing, something like that," oh noooo, not thaaaat, not a project that would be difficult and challenging and most of all demanding of a lot of tiiiime!, "but it would be interesting to see what I could come up with. Already got a few ideas starting to churn away up here in the old noggin. Maybe I could get started on churning out these cases for you, and bring 'em on by when they're finished to help get 'em installed, and then really scope out what kind of space I'm working with."

Turn the former art gallery into a bow-shooting... gallery: that was our Aloy.
