The Park
So, it had been an eventful day so far... and while it might not have been his best decision ever, Dwight didn't feel like sitting in his apartment staring at the bags and luggage and suitcases that seemed to keep popping up around him.
Maybe he thought he could distract himself. Maybe he thought he could get some space between himself and the baggage. Maybe he thought they might leave him alone in the openness of the outdoors. But whatever he had thought was proving to be incorrect. if anything the number of bags and labels he had to deal with was seeming to increase.
So, Dwight sat on the rather oversized suitcase with a "Troubles" label stuck to it, feet resting on a duffle bag with a "killed your squad mates" label affixed to it, and doing his best to ignore the "unworthy of love", "failure as a father", and "she'll never love you" bags that seemed to be actually taunting him at this point.
He kicked over the bag that said "Lizzie" on it only to have it right itself again, the name bigger and bolder than before. "This had bloody well be a one day thing" he muttered.
