Trooper Station, Monday, September 12, 2022
Danny's bitching about the Chicago-style sausage pizza on Friday night had been everything Steve had wanted. Danny would point out that craving being yelled at made Steve a deeply broken person, but Steve would ignore that. He'd rather view at letting Danny indulge in his love language, which was ranting.
They were so weird.
Steve was back from taking the Troopers on a long run around the island--so many stairs! so much fun for possibly only people who were Steve!--and was now at his desk ignoring the phone and making Calvin engage with the Bee Lady.
The Trooper Station was open!

How was that bad, you may wonder, it was a loco moco with extra gravy and mac salad for Steve. Which he couldn't turn down. Which was more delicious carbs and fat than Steve allowed.
"Did you make them run again?" Danny asked, dropping the gravy covered Styrofoam container on Steve's desk.
It was in a plastic bag, don't worry about it.

He would not figure it out and would instead buy more Friday night monstrosities.

"Oh, sounds like we missed out on that date thing on Saturday."
It was better for their sanity that way.
