The Photo Hut - Thursday
Unlike last Thursday, this Thursday seemed to be back to its usual quiet day and so Liz finalised the guest list for Prompto’s party so she could send it to Summer that morning and once she had done that, she started finishing off some of the admin work that she didn’t get to on Tuesday.
Once she had caught up on her paperwork, she decided to get ahead start on the monthly financial report, starting it early had worked out rather well last month and she wanted to be able to do that again this month.

And, that taken care of, he could get to the important part, which was leaning forward over the counter on his elbows and fixing Liz with a grin.
"Hi."

“Hi,” she smiled shyly up at him, “I’ve missed you,” she added.

"I've missed you, too," he added, once he settled back into a less awkward position, and continued beaming at her. Because, clearly, it had been so long since that morning. Agonizingly long, truly. So long, in fact, that as he settled and looked at Liz, he decided that one kiss was clearly not enough, and pushed himself over again and lingered, despite the awkwardness of it, for a little while longer for a few more.
Then settled back again, looking terribly pleased with himself before asking, "How's it going? You been busy? You look busy. Maybe I should go...."
He trailed off like he was going to pull away and start doing just that, but was clearly in no rush to actually follow through with that.

“No, stay,” and that would be Liz looking up at him with pleading eyes and then a hand reaching out to try and stop him leaving if it did look like he would follow through with that, “please … I’m never too busy for you,” she added shyly.

He slipped easily back into his lean on the counter, taking Liz's outstreched hand in both of his and giving her another grin as he planted a kiss on it, too. "I guess I could stick around for a bit."

There'd already been way too much of that.
And lest he find himself inadvertently stumbling into another spiral of guilt and shame, he squeezed Liz's hand one more time before he said, "I hope you like lunch. It doesn't look pretty, but it should taste okay. I definitely need to stick to more simple things, I think."
Ignis Scientia, he was not.

“It looks amazing,” she told him as she had a look at the lunch Prompto had prepared for her, “thank you for making lunch for me, I can’t wait to try it,”

That was a very big might.
"I mean, I'm not Iggy or Dr. Lecter," he added with a chuckle, "but at least I'm not a Gladio."
It would be nothing but Cup NoodlesTM for daaaaays.

It was hard to say but Liz wasn’t going to turn down the chance to kiss Prompto.

But for now, he was leaning as much as he could so Liz wouldn't have to lean in too much to meet her with that kiss and drag it out for a while.
Until he pulled back, just a little, just enough to grin and comment, "You know, for someone who allegedly can't wait to to try it, you sure are taking your time getting to it.
"Not a complaint," he added, with another kiss in between, "by the way."

She looked up at Prompto happily, “well I’m glad it’s not a complaint because I have a lot more rewards to give still,” she said shyly, “unless you would rather wait until after lunch?” she added, her blush deepening.
