The Photo Hut; Monday [10/24].
So this weekend had really been nothing short of amazing, but it was Monday again, and even though his actual birthday was tomorrow (well, not actual birthday, but let's not get into that), it was time to get his head back in the game.
Or at least try to. Assuming things didn't get too unexpectedly busy here in the shop, he was planning on spending most of his time on the computer, working on setting up the site for his photography and uploading and editing some of the pictures from this weekend for all the stock photo sites (go on, tell him that pictures of puppies wearing birthday hats won't be a popular theme!), but he just kept....drifting off, with a dopey smile on his face as he remembered the weekend and still just marveled that this was apparently his life now, that this could even be his life now, after everything he'd went through....
He wondered if, in a year from now, it would still feel so surreal, considering how it still hadn't seemed to wear off yet...

“Hi,” she smiled brightly carrying the tray of coffee and the cupcakes and donuts from the bakery as she entered the store, “how has your morning been?”

And then, a moment later, he remembered himself and sat up. "Did you need help?"
It didn't look heavy, but it might be heavy, and now Prompto was hopping over the counter to go help Liz out anyway before she could really even answer.

She had gotten a little carried away at the bakery.

But another benefit to offering his help and services in carrying such cumbersome objects such as those also meant that Prompto could swoop in to add a little kiss on Liz's cheek to the exchange as he happily took up both box and tray. "Obviously," he said, "someone needs to come up with putting a donut in a cupcake, or vice versa, but I think separate will do for now. Thanks, Liz." He laughed a little. "You really didn't need to do that."
Especially since he was planning on also indulging in his traditional Sad Birthday Cupcake tomorrow, too. And after all the cake this weekend...if he wasn't careful, people were going to start thinking he might be the pregnant one, only with a little cake baby. He should really start training with Gladio again. Even if it weren't for all the sweets coming his way now, it would just be smart to keep in shape for whenever things inevitably went rough around here.

She paused, “it’s not too much is it?”
She realised it was a little late now but she figured they didn’t buy that much from the bakery these days and every now and then it was okay to indulge, especially when it was for a birthday.

He quirked his head toward the counter. "Joining me?" he asked, as he started to make his way back over with all his new, delicious spoils.

"You'd just wind up having to roll me up the stairs later if I tried to eat all of this myself."
He then pulled out the chair he had previously been occupying, and, with a dramatic bow and sweep if his arm, he invited Liz to take a seat. "My lady," he said, with maybe an extra tilt to his grin, because of the karaoke that Saturday.

“Why thank you, kind sir,” she replied as she did a little curtsey and took the offered seat.
She smiled shyly up at him, “hi,”

"Hi," he said, plucking the smaller cup from the drink thay and passing it over to Liz. "How's it going?"

She was never going to tire of that response.

At least he had an excuse, right. He was just warming up his dad humor.
"What are the odds?" He asked with a chuckle.

She tried to do a wink as well but failed miserably.
