When Summer came into the store that day, the first thing she noticed was, of course, that the two very prominent displays of Halloween candy that had been set up in the front of the store by the counter and the Squishy machine had been switched to nothing but Good & Plenty.

She looked over at Apu. Witheringly. "How," she said, before he had a chance to even say anything, because she knew exactly where that conversation would have gone, "does a candy like Good & Plenty get its own day? I mean, do you even know anyone who even likes Good & Plenty candy?"

As soon as she said it, though, Summer knew.

"Oh, shit," she realized. "I bet Annie likes Good & Plenty candy..."

Well! At least now Summer knew what she was doing with all the leftover stock she'll have on hand when Halloween came and went and literally no one except maybe the worst people bought some.
