Blackstone Foundry and Forge; Tuesday [10/25].
Amaya's work at the forge had been interrupted at some point that day for a rare phone call, a special order coming in, and so she was taking meticulous notes and making a few preliminary sketches as she nodded and agreed along.
"Okay, so," she said, "we're looking a standard double-edge broadsword with a tapered blade, redwood handle and you'll be sending in a specific stone for the pommel, and an etching on the blade around a fuller....yeah, yeah, that's what it's technically called....no, you're right, 'blood groove' is much cooler, but I am a professional here...uh, huh...uh, huh...oh, of course...and, just to make sure I'm clear on this, we do want it to the size for a mouse to comfortable wield? Are we talking more field mouse, or possibly sewer rat territory, in terms of size?
"Got it, got it, no, no, I assure you, that shouldn't be a problem. After all, you said yourself, you've seen the work I've done in lobster arms and artillery on the website, I assure you, I can handle something mouse-related, you won't be disappointed. However, while we're on the topic, have you given much thought to mouse armor....?"
Sure, it wouldn't be a big job (in more ways than one!), but Amaya would happily take it!
The Forge is open!
