Halloween was actually quite a busy time for a Shinigami...not just because the Seireitei was usually in an uproar, what with that whole thinning veil between worlds of it all, but also because Shunsui was a big fan of Halloween-related parties, and was a big fan of Halloweens that wound up on Mondays, because that gave him the entire weekend to enjoy those parties without having them interrupted as much with his having to do his job. Granted, unless there was a really unusual threat, it rarely demanded Captain-level attention, so it was just a matter of employing his excellent delegation skills and dealing with the usual bureaucratic rigmarole, which he was quite used to just napping through most of by now, anyway.

And now that he was back on the island, he could use a nice, quiet Wednesday at the shop to make up for any lost napping time, and if Apu-san had anything to say about it, he was hoping to get him all tied up in a technicality about it being All Souls Day, and since he was, in fact, a Soul, well...

But Apu-san knew that, of course, which was why Shunsui was not surprised to see that holiday less featured, and most of the man's time being spent looking for circles instead.
