Today was apparently Go to an Art Museum Day, but, apparently, since Apu made it abundantly clear that he had no intention of taking the day off to celebrate, he had brought the art museum into Turtle & Canary instead, finding strategic places to hang up framed reproductions of famous painting throughout the aisles.

Shunsui's offer to take the day off to celebrate in Apu's stead was met with a skeptical, whithering look, as if Apu didn't believe that Shunsui actually would go to an art museum, but, to prove it, he briefly showed off some of the texts that he had been sending with that shiny new Soul Phone of his to Rangiku, inviting her to come visit a museum with him.

Just ignore the fact that her responses were pretty much just along the lines of how boring and terrible that sounded, she'd rather just go shopping, and that she was pretty sure the Soul Phones were only supposed to be used for official Seireitei communications and business, anyway.
