"Injuries!" Kitty announced. "They happen a lot while you're saving the world. Sometimes it might just be scrapes and bruises, sometimes you get hit with some weird weapon that gets you stuck intangible till your molecules start coming apart. There is a whole variety of ways you can get hurt, and you can't always prepare for them, or you have to figure out on the fly how to handle it and get them out of there without hurting them worse.

"Today I'm going to have you pair up and try a few first aid techniques, with one of you being the victim and the other being the rescuer. Then you can trade, or switch things up and pick something else, I don't care as much as I want you to learn it.

"Oh," and she added, "don't actually try CPR. That definitely ends in broken bones here."

You can practice caring for bullet wounds, broken bones, shock, burns, or basic wound care. All supplies are moddable.

Also you can do a fireman's carry for funsies.

Jane was just going to take special note of treating electrical burns. Just in case!

"I can definitely carry someone!"

Though her being carried would be pretty hilarious.

Know what was also hilarious? The speed with which Steph immediately crumpled dramatically to the ground and groaned, "Oh, god, my leg, I can't walk!"

"I've got you!" Jane definitely was there, rushing over to scoop her up like she weighed nothing. Like holding a couple grapes.

That golden retriever Thor energy.

It was probably a good thing that Steph already knew how much she enjoyed being picked up, huh, because holy shit. Vi was so going to be jealous. But not like, in a bad way.

"Thank you so much," Steph said, still dramatically. "I thought I was going to have to crawl to the clinic."

Yeah, like that would have ever happened around here.

"Oh, I think I could fly you there," Jane promised. Because that helped, right?

Just... ignore that choked little weird noise that Steph made, okay?

"You can fly, too?"

Steven didn't have much first aid experience but he was happy to learn. He did care for people who didn't have access to healing abilities after all.

Miguel looked him over and shrugged. "If I need much care, I'm gonna need a hospital. You?"

"Depends on the situation, really," Steven said. "If I can get my suit on I'm fine, but if something's preventing that I'm as mortal as anything."

"UMF suit?" Miguel guessed. "Or is it more like armor?"

"Actual suit," Steven said. "Coat, tie, that sort of thing. What's a UMF?"

If she knew there was any overblown drama between any students she probably wouldn't have done this one?

Steven ~~couldn't possibly imagine what Kitty's narrative was talking about~~ held back after class. "Hello. Have a moment?"

"Sure," Kitty said ~~with sporadic/major SP for travel stuff~~. "What's up?"

"Er, it's early days I know," Steven said. "But time goes by so quickly during the holidays I thought get a head start on it. Inviting you to a party, I mean. Nothing much, just a little something for Hanukkah. Friends, food that sort of thing."

"Oh, awesome," she said. "What day?"

"19th December," Steven said. "In the evening. I can ~~handwavily~~ send you the details when it's closer. Now won't be anything religious, we're making it welcome to all. But who doesn't like latkes, yeah?"
