Community Center Class: Chopped: Fandom. Tuesday Evening [11/15].
"I'm not sure," Summer said, by way of introduction to getting the class started that evening, still a little uncertain if she should really acknowledge recent events or if by not acknowledging them at all, that would somehow just make it worse, "how many of you had the same kind of weekend that I did, but let's just say that certain parts of it were..."
Enlightening?
"Inspirational."
Sure, she'll go with that.
“I didn’t have the same weekend at all,” Stark said. “But you know that.”
"I did know that," Summer confirmed, helpfully, with a nod, apparently in case anyone in the class doubted it. "But, no matter how your weekend went, I'm sure as soon as you see this week's cupcakes, you'll still understand why they were chosen."
A beat.
"Assuming they're what they're supposed to be this week, anyway."
And a quick lift of the cloche revealing chicken nugget and mac and cheese cupcakes and Summer's relieved sigh confirmed that they had, in fact, remained as they should be.
Stark had been half- convinced there would somehow by worm and slug cupcakes under there and let out a very relieved sigh of his own.
"Ta-dah!" she announced. "Some kid-inspired fare to inspire your challenge for today! Let's see what's in those baskets, and see if what you make is fit for fine dining, or about to be banished forever to the kid's table. You may open your baskets...now!"

Prepare your Dishes - Chopped, 11/15.
Compared to some of the challenges, these actually aren't that bad, but can you actually do something unexpected with them to surprise (or horrify!) your judges?
Your time begins....now!

It had been an interesting couple of weeks that was for sure between turning into a cat and then a child.
Cutter had a look over the ingredients, frowning a little as he tried to think what he could make.
Re: Prepare your Dishes - Chopped, 11/15.
After a few minutes he knew what he was going to make and quickly started getting everything prepared.

DON'T JUDGE HIM.
He'd turn the pasta into mac and cheese but everything else would be in careful, non-touching, piles on a plate.
Prepare your Dishes - Chopped, 11/15.
But, like, it's nothing personal! That's just literally their job!
Re: Prepare your Dishes - Chopped, 11/15.
The key word was try …it did not look like a casserole at all, it was just a big mess on his plate.

He did seem to have forgotten how to look at Summer again though.
Re: Talk to the Teachers - Chopped, 11/15.
When she was disgusting, she was disgusting on purpose.
She was also glad to be a grown ass adult again, too. Oh em gee.
Re: Talk to the Teachers - Chopped, 11/15.
While not making eye contact but still smiling a little because tiny Summer had been adorable even if she had some very outrageous ideas. Ridiculous ones. Absurd.
Re: Talk to the Teachers - Chopped, 11/15.
But at least Stark wasn't the only one avoiding eye contact this time around, because, ugh, awkward, and she was still processing.
Re: Talk to the Teachers - Chopped, 11/15.
And there was a lot to process. But at least none of the food today contained slugs or worms or bugs.
