Rosa was officially back from being 'missing' to avoid having to deal with anything Thanksgiving related, which had involved a nice trip down south just to make sure. But hey! She'd brought back souvenirs! For the three people (and one dog) she cared about enough to actually get souvenirs for and, like, a paperweight for her employee. Who Rosa really hoped didn't mess anything up too much while she was gone.

Not there there had been many cases to have been messed up on, but, hey, maybe by this point, he'd had enough time to hen-peck his way through transcribing some of those interviews for her.

Anyway, she was back, already missing Jamaica, and maybe wondering if she could pull off New Zealand or something for Christmas.

Miguel came downstairs and flopped in his usual chair, coffee and doughnuts for them both on the desk. "Happy belated. Have a good time? I made leftovers."

"I was seriously going to question a few things if you hadn't," said Rosa. "I brought stuff."

Stuff that was now flying his way from where Rosa snatched it up from her bag, stuff in the form of some very nice Blue Mountain coffee, because like she's piss off to Jamaica and come back with anything else for him? Please.

"You guys didn't get attacked by giant inflatable turkeys or anything while I was gone, did you?"

Miguel caught the coffee with a web to avoid puncturing the bag. "Nice. I will put this to very good use. No inflatable turkeys, unfortunately. We could probably blow some up if you wanted, though." He paused. "Meaning inflate some, but I'm up for explosives, too."

"You have no idea how necessary but disappointing that clarification was," she said.

Well, he probably had some idea. He had met you, Rosa.

"How much explosives do we have on hand to blow up turkeys? Do I get to break out the chemicals and make my own?"
