Apu had spent the whole weekend getting ready for one last major push for last-minute Valentine's Day gifts, so Summer walked into the store feeling like someone vomited Pepto Bismal and candy hearts all over it. And she wasn't sure if it was mood she woke up in that morning or what, but a lot of those attempted hearts out of crepe paper and streamers looked way more suggestive of other parts of the human anatomy to her.
...and...cheddar, apparently? That clearly was the cheese panda's doing, so she definitely was not going to ask.
Honestly, she was half-wondering why she even bothered coming in today, but, truthfully? Having some work to actually focus on was a good distraction from her frustration that her usual plan for a week like this was a put on hold due to someone being stuck in the trenches of important world-hunger-saving business at the moment.
So unless she wanted to spend Valentine's Day and sexy week in some hut in Ethiopia, she was plumb out of luck.
Check with her on if the prospect seemed increasingly more appealing as the week went on.
