You know, Scott was absolutely terrible at all this accounting and managing stuff. Like, just terrible. Wanda was going to need to take everything to an actual CPA at some point, probably to undo everything Scott touched in her absence.
But what he was good at? Practical, handy things. So today, he was spending his shift -- having deposited a blueberry streusel muffin outside for Jeff first -- doing a little early spring cleaning-slash-maintenance. Every screw in the shop was getting tightened, the light fixtures dusted and the lights themselves replaced with LEDs, because energy efficiency was important. That weird squeak the door had been doing? Say hello to his friend, WD-40.
It was kind of nice feeling like he was doing something useful, actually.
