The sound system was out of whack today. The culprit, it turned out, to be nacho cheese that had somehow gotten into the wiring. One of the teens insisted he could fix it, but it'd take some time.
"So, what, we're supposed to just sit here and listen to each other breathe?" Eddie asked, already putting in earbuds and putting on a playlist on his phone (thank you, 21st century). "Absolutely not."
